  • What is your role exactly? How do you spend your days (when you aren’t answering fans’ interviews)? Do you code?
  • Why did you decide to develop a hardcore game with all inherent difficulties to a niche market?
  • What is Bitbox’s main motivation to do Life is Feudal?
  • How many people are there in Bitbox studio? (Can you send us a team photo?)
  • What is the more important aspect of Life is Feudal for all of you? An innovative game? A realist game? A beautiful continent with a lot of towns and cities or tons of bloody battles?
  • Don’t you think it’s a little risky to do a sandbox hardcore game with only few rules and moderators? Aren’t you afraid that a super-kingdom will rule all players?
  • What was your biggest disappointment about this first Beta Wave?
  • For some players, this first Beta stage was a « crash danse ». It appears that the 32bits architecture isn’t enough to play. Is that the reason you speed up 64 bits client release?
  • What can you tell us about skill progression feedback?
  • What were you the most proud of (server 25 capacity record for example)?
  • There is a suggestion page on the official website. How do you choose the functionalities which are implanted? Is this page just a source of inspiration from which you take only good ideas or will you apply all voted in suggestions?
  • A lot of players have difficulties understanding that Bitbox is only the publisher of Forest Village. What kind of interactions do you have with the dev’s team?
  • Can we speak a little about the financial aspect? Can Bitbox handle a MMO long development?
  • How do you plan to make the game profitable? Copy sales, cash shop, premium subscription: how do you picture the distribution?
  • Xsollia is specialized into micro-payment management and a part of community is a « little worried » about our partnership with them. Pessimist players already predict a future P2W game. Can you reassure the community (again)?

 

  • About Life is Feudal’s lore, which part is already defined and which part is still “in progress?”
  • I read that you don’t want to reproduce any real religion so I suppose you will create new ones. Is it to avoid any religious conflict or for another reason?
  • Currently, we have Slavard, Khoors and Gottlung. Any other race planned?
  • What about cultural buildings and buildings specific to each race (religious ones in particular)?
  • Have you found a name for the continent?
  • Who is the Sleeper and what is his story?
  • Will he be the only god for a dedicated race?

 

  • The Cash shop is one of the main source of uncertainty for numerous players. As you wish to avoid Pay2Win at all cost, most of them await Bitbox announcement about what the cash shop will contain. Can you say something more?
  • Can you tell us a bit about your roadmap? No date asked, just the functionalities planned.
  • What is your opinion about role balancing in PvP battles? Do you think bowmen, cavalry and footmen have to cancel one another like rock-paper-scissor?
